Some ideas: basics for serving friends at a small gathering - appetizers for example.

What about staple drinks (incl alcohol) to have on hand. Everyone likes their own drinks but are there some that 'most' would like?

Do you have any simple but 'blow your mind' desserts? When I go to a family dinner I am looking for something healthy and light - after usually having some awesome but heavy family meals.

I'd like to see recipes for parties and get togethers.

I would like to see more ethnic recipes.

I would love some salad dressings. I always end up doing an oil/vinegar dressing, and am looking to branch out.
I have some simple but blow your mind desserts for Janina, but they are sadly not light or healthy.

I would love to see some easy, but really yummy Salad Dressings. I have been trying to recreate a nice, not to vinegary, Ranch or Blue Cheese. ( we can´t get those here) I always end up doing oil/vinegar, and am looking for something more.
( I have some blow your mind simple desserts for Janina, but sadly they are not light and healthy!)

I love drink recipes, like iced teas, cocktails, mocktails, and hot ones. Also, different kinds of syrups to put in the drinks too.

I'm interested in easy to moderate recipes that are tasty and healthy. Chicken recipes are great as well as soups and casseroles. Specifically, you know I would love to see the salmon cakes recipe.

I love looking through cookbooks for ideas.

I prefer to do simple when I entertain - mainly appetizers and then one or two main things. Always looking for new ideas for appetizers and salads - they are so easy and everyone enjoys these. Can never have too many ideas....

The Pottery Barn carries so many products that I would love to decorate and entertain with! I like to enjoy the party when I am hosting and would appreciate ideas for a great spread of food that doesn't require serving it. Many thanks,Cindi
