Tropicana 50 - My version

Finally. I had received coupons for the new Trop50 a number of weeks ago however, they did not have any information on the website for me to link you too. Well, not only is there some information online but coupons also. Have any of you tried it yet? It looks as if they use Stevia as a sweetener. I am not sure I will buy it as I have a cheaper and effective way to cut the calories and sugar: I simply pour some of the regular Tropicana in my glass, and add water. I am guessing at a 60:40 ratio. Brillant eh?
Also, I thought the company has abandoned it's new packing for the former? hum.

I am smiling at you right now...I guess when you have kids and the dentist tells you juice is horrible for their teeth, and especially at night in a bottle; then you begin to figure out little ways to stretch it out by adding water, and realize for yourself it is less calories as you fool them. Since as a mom we tend to finish their drinks and plates of food to cut back on waste :) , sorry for the memory share! Hubby loves the brand of juice! But I had not see this one yet...

Jennifer--funny you should mention that...I've been doing that with just about all of my juices since my kids were babies. I even do it with the "no sugar added" juices--we've just gotten to where the real deal is a bit too concentrated tasting.

haha.. thats pretty mcu hall it is anyway, so your way is cheaper too (you get twice as much for the same price!)

Im confused about the packaging thing too.

Granted, some may argue that you are not getting as much of the vit. c etc. but I think you stil get plenty and also get a drink that is not so sweet.

The packaging is a cute visual for the decreased calories, and the taste isn't so bad. But honestly, you might as well just eat and orange and call it a day.

Thanks for the review. I saw a commercial last night and new it was too good to be true. They couldn't just cut the sugar and let it be orange juice. I knew they'd have to add a sweetener instead. I like my orange juice from my juicer at home, but if I have 100% from the carton I do what you do and dilute it with water.
