The wait is over! Tracey and I are beyond excited to announce that Chef Andrew Zimmern has chosen as the winner of Eating your Words 2010: The Meyer Lemon SCRABBLE COOKIES from Caroline of When Adobo Met Feijoada !
Caroline is the winner of the amazing and highly coveted aebleskiver pan courtesy of Aunt Else's Aebleskiver! Her winning entry will also be featured on Chef Zimmern's Blog (link to be added once post is up)
We asked Chef Zimmern to 'spell out' his decision making process and he answered:
1) "Zimmern" is worth almost 100 points in Scrabble.
2) I respect the artist's restraint. With the remaining letters, I would have been tempted to spell "wiener" and/or "poop."
3) Who doesn't like Meyer lemon cookies?
4) Hello Mister Zimmern, Pick Me.... Simply genius
Bravo! (speaking of Bravo he is a guest judge in this season of Top Chef Masters)
SPELLING WITH SUSHI by Phyllis and Kris, me_HUNGRY!
THE ART OF MAKING CREAM OF MUSHROOM (AND CHICKEN) SOUP, NOT INSPIRED FROM THE CAN by Sanura, My Life Runs on Food
We wish to thank each and every one of you who entered and a huge thank you to Chef Zimmern and Aunt Else's Aebleskiver!!
